About Us:
Roadkill is an artist collective made up of four independent filmmakers from across Europe—hailing from the Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands and Finland/Algeria. We met during film school and are connected by the same impulse: to make the kind of art and films we actually want to see.
There’s no single style or genre that defines us. For example some of the films we have made together was a love-story about literally eating the other person’s guts, a shortfilm where the line between reality and film is blended together with gambling, puppets and telepathy and a story about two people who find themselves playing an online webgame that promises riches but has severe consequences. We have the best of time on set together and are always excited for the next film we create together.
While we work for the most part independently, we stay close. Sharing ideas, helping on each other’s projects, and pushing each other to keep going. Roadkill is a collective that’s all about collaboration and having fun while making art.
We’re always making something, and we’re always looking forward to whatever’s next.
